Zipline Saves Player From Certain Death In Call Of Duty- Warzone

Call of Duty: Warzone matches can sometimes be met with bad decisions and death, but every now and then you’re met with perfect happenstance. This seems to be the case for Reddit user WentzWagon420, who shared a funny clip of a zipline saving their life in a match of Warzone.

Ziplines are a great way to quickly traverse the landscape in Call of Duty: Warzone, especially for zipping up to get a rooftop advantage for some sniping. In this player’s case, the zipline saved them from an enemy’s finishing move.

Xbox Boss Phil Spencer Sees Potential In NFTs For Gaming

Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer has shared new commentary around play-to-earn game mechanics and NFTs, saying he feels “cautious” but doesn’t want to write off any new technology.

Speaking to Bloomberg, Spencer said the “play-to-earn” category specifically gives him pause. He admitted that this isn’t new in the gaming landscape–people have been gold-farming for years–but such mechanics being built directly into games represents a new step that requires a cautious outlook, he said.

“Play-to-earn specifically is something I am cautious about. It creates a worker force out of players for certain players to monetize. To be fair for us, in the games industry, this has existed for years and years. There have been gold farmers–people who literally just spend their time doing s…

Missouri’s Lake of the Ozarks Casino Inches Closer to Reality

Over 320,000 Missourian voters have signed a petition seeking to greenlight a casino at Lake of the Ozarks. After four consecutive failures to get the casino question on the ballot, the matter may finally be put to voters.

For context, the Missouri constitution only allows casinos to be constructed near the Missouri and Mississippi rivers. This means that the people of the state must vote in favor of a constitutional amendment in order to expand the list of waterways that allow gaming.

The signatures will now be verified by the state. For reference, the number of certified signatures needed to get the matter to the ballot is approximately 173,000.

If the Lake of the Ozarks casino secures the Missourian voters’ approval, the state wi…
